HEROIC MASTER (G394): After the race, H Bowman stated that he was obliged to make use of his mount to hold his position in the early stages. He added that in the Home Straight HEROIC MASTER finished the race off fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY UNITED (H208): Jumped awkwardly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HARMONY FIRE (E175): Jumped only fairly. Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. After the 300 Metres improved into a tight run between SUPER FORTUNE and MAJESTIC EXPRESS and raced in restricted room for some distance thereafter. Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of Apprentice E C W Wong, 4th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, he was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he fully rides his mounts out to the finish of the race.
