WHIZZ KID (E392): When questioned, H Bentley stated that when he placed his mount under pressure after entering the Home Straight, his left foot slipped from his stirrup which resulted in him having to stop riding WHIZZ KID fully for a number of strides between the 300 Metres and the 250 Metres where he was able to place his foot back in his stirrup at that point. H Bentley was reminded of his obligation under Rule 103 to report anything which may have affected the running of his horse in a race. DUKE WAI (C188): No report. NERVOUS WITNESS (E421): No report. SEASONS WIT (H223): Jumped only fairly. After the race, Z Purton could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MAJESTIC KNIGHT (G258): Shifted in at the start and made contact with the right side of its barrier. Sent for sampling post-race. CARROLL STREET (D489): No report. HARMONY N BLESSED (E061): Bumped at the start. Leaving the 400 Metres lay in and away from WHIZZ KID, brushed the running rail and became unbalanced. Sent for sampling post-race. NORDIC DRAGON (G467): Approaching the 800 Metres, when racing tight to the inside of SEASONS WIT, lay in and away from that runner and brushed the running rail. After the 250 Metres lay in and away from HARMONY N BLESSED and again brushed the running rail. Continued to lay in for the remainder of the event. HUMBLE STAR (H125): Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with the hindquarters of HARMONY N BLESSED. For some distance near the 700 Metres commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from CARROLL STREET. Over the concluding stages raced tight between CARROLL STREET and SEASONS WIT. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
