From the outside barrier, VIGOR DELIGHT was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Near the 1300 Metres, BANKSTERS BONUS was checked when crowded for room between HO HO LIFE and VIGOR DELIGHT which got its head on the side and shifted out across the heels of EAGLE SPIRIT. Near the 300 Metres, M Chadwick (REGENCY WINNER) momentarily dropped his right rein. For some distance approaching the 200 Metres, EAGLE SPIRIT had difficulty obtaining clear running between HO HO LIFE and EASY GOLD. Throughout the race, HO HO LIFE travelled wide and without cover. VIGOR DELIGHT and HO HO LIFE were sent for sampling.
