The Veterinary Officer reported that KING MOSSMAN, which had mild swelling over its left hock, was examined in the holding stalls and passed suitable to race. LEELI’S STAR began awkwardly. KING MOSSMAN was slow to begin. From wide barriers, TIME AFTER TIME and GOOD WORDS were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. O Doleuze (HORSE GALORE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 850 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of TAI SING YEH, resulting in that horse being checked and losing the running to which it was rightfully entitled. O Doleuze was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Thursday, 25 October 2012 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Sha Tin racemeeting on Wednesday, 17 October 2012. Approaching the 800 Metres, PSYCHOLOGIST was steadied away from the heels of HORSE GALORE which shifted in when only just clear. NORDIC ONE got its head on the side and made the turn awkwardly after the 600 Metres. After the 200 Metres, PSYCHOLOGIST got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly across the heels of TIME AFTER TIME. In this incident, PSYCHOLOGIST struck the heels of TIME AFTER TIME and became unbalanced. Over the concluding stages, DR SUPER was awkwardly placed outside the heels of HORSE GALORE. Throughout the race, DR SUPER travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of KING MOSSMAN, TAI SING YEH and PSYCHOLOGIST after the race did not show any significant findings. GOOD BOY BOY and TIME AFTER TIME were sent for sampling.
