WASABI WIN was crowded for room on jumping between KING MORTAR and GUY DRAGON which shifted out.
ENORMOUS HONOUR began only fairly.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages, KING MORTAR failed to muster speed.
Near the 1050 Metres, WASABI WIN momentarily raced in restricted room inside GUY DRAGON.
MANFUL STAR lost its left hind plate passing the 1050 Metres.
Passing the 1000 Metres, DEAL MAKER was left racing wide and without cover.
Near the 850 Metres, MANFUL STAR became unbalanced of its own accord and lost ground. SUPER LEADER, which was following, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MANFUL STAR in consequence.
SUPER LEADER was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and then raced tight inside MANFUL STAR when improving between that horse and DRAGON DANCE at the 300 Metres.
Near the 350 Metres, ENORMOUS HONOUR was shifted away from the heels of HAPPY HOUR which was bumped and taken out by GUY DRAGON (K Teetan) which shifted out to obtain clear running after being awkwardly placed behind DEAL MAKER. K Teetan was severely reprimanded and advised to ensure that he exercises due care when shifting ground to obtain clear running.
Approaching the 150 Metres, DRAGON DANCE raced in restricted room inside SUPER LEADER (M Harley) which lay in under pressure. M Harley was advised to ensure that he makes every endeavour to prevent his mounts from shifting ground and causing crowding to other runners.
A veterinary inspection of GOOD COMPANION and DRAGON DANCE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
FUN TIMES, GUY DRAGON and SUPER LEADER were sent for sampling.
<11/3/2019 Additional Veterinary Report>GOOD COMPANION, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GOOD COMPANION was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K H Ting this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, GOOD COMPANION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
