Just prior to the start being effected, BIG ME got its head down, resulting in the horse being slow to begin. Then on jumping, BIG ME and UNITED WE STAND lost ground when crowded for room between ONE FOR ALL which got its head on the side and shifted out away from CIRCUIT SEVEN which itself shifted out after beginning awkwardly and PERFECT ROCK which shifted in after being bumped by FLYING HIGH. In this incident, ONE FOR ALL lost its left front plate. A short distance after this, ONE FOR ALL and PERFECT ROCK bumped.
Passing the 900 Metres, CIRCUIT SEVEN was eased away from the heels of SPARKLING DOLPHIN which shifted out.
FLYING HIGH had some difficulty obtaining clear running approaching and passing the 400 Metres and then near the 275 Metres was directed to the inside of CIRCUIT SEVEN to continue improving.
Passing the 200 Metres, ONE FOR ALL raced tight outside CIRCUIT SEVEN.
After the 150 Metres, GLENEALY GENERALS was steadied when disappointed for running outside NOBLE ONE which shifted out. GLENEALY GENERALS was then shifted to the inside of NOBLE ONE passing the 100 Metres to obtain clear running.
Passing the 100 Metres, CIRCUIT SEVEN shifted in and brushed FLYING HIGH.
A veterinary inspection of UNITED WE STAND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BIG ME and FLYING HIGH were sent for sampling.
