BLAZE WARRIOR jumped only fairly and shortly after the start brushed with TURIN REDSUN. TURIN REDSUN was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 900 Metres, when the pace of the event steadied, BEAUTY JOY got its head up and raced keenly for a short distance.
Close to the finish, CORDYCEPS SIX (A Badel) was brushed by THE GOLDEN SCENERY which shifted out slightly, resulting in A Badel being restricted riding his mount out with the whip to the finish.
After the race, K Teetan (THE GOLDEN SCENERY) reported that his mount was not suited by the moderate pace of the event, particularly in the middle stages, and as a result THE GOLDEN SCENERY found it difficult to make up ground when placed under pressure in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of THE GOLDEN SCENERY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
THE GOLDEN SCENERY, BELUGA and BEAUTY JOY were sent for sampling.
