Whilst in the holding stalls, JUBILATION had its both hind plates refitted. JUBILATION was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
SMILING FACE was slow to begin.
On jumping, CABLE SPEED was bumped by JUBILATION which shifted out. After travelling a short distance, CABLE SPEED was awkwardly placed close to the heels of JUBILATION when racing tight to the inside of LUCKY MISSILE.
LOYAL AMBITION lost its left front plate at the start.
From wide barriers, OWNERS’ STAR and FORTUNE TRIPLE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
From the outside barrier, SMART COUSIN was also shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
A veterinary inspection of SMART COUSIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CABLE SPEED and DRAGON PRIDE were sent for sampling.
