FLYING IN was withdrawn on 12.10.10 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (colic). Before being allowed to race again, FLYING IN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. LITTLE DREAMS was slow to begin. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, GREAT GUY, which was positioned to the inside of the heels of INTERCHINA STAR (H W Lai), was checked out across the heels of that horse in order to relieve tightening to LITTLE DREAMS which had been vigorously ridden to obtain a position to the inside of GREAT GUY. A short distance later, LITTLE DREAMS was checked away from the heels of INTERCHINA STAR. After this, GREAT GUY was left racing wide and without cover. H W Lai was advised whilst there were some circumstances to this incident, he should wherever possible ensure that he is sufficiently clear of horses when shifting ground. Near the 700 Metres, HAPPY TUMBLER shifted out when being checked away from the heels of BOUNCER. A veterinary inspection of JUMBO GOLD after the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucopus in the horse`s trachea. JUMBO GOLD, LITTLE DREAMS and HAPPY TUMBLER were sent for sampling.
