CHINA WIN began awkwardly and then despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to muster speed. EURO POWER began awkwardly and then passing the 1200 Metres commenced to over-race and proved difficult to settle for some distance. Also passing the 1200 Metres, CHINA WIN proved difficult to settle and was steadied away from the heels of PLENTIFUL which itself was awkwardly placed close to the heels of WINDICATOR POWER. From on straightening until after passing the 200 Metres, WINNING EDGE was held up for clear running. FLYING BLUE and HAPPY GUYS were sent for sampling.
