MEDIC FORTUNE was withdrawn on 5.3.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (blood abnormality) and was replaced by first Standby Declared Starter BULB TREASURE. AIPODER IMAGE, second Standby Declared Starter, was withdrawn on 6.3.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, MEDIC FORTUNE and AIPODER IMAGE will both be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SABINA was slow to begin. WINNING PAL and TELECOM SUPREMO bumped shortly after the start. From wide barriers, GREEN GLORY and ROCKET AND GOLD were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Near the 900 Metres, FANTASTIC GUY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of KING GALILEO. Passing the 800 Metres, KUNG HEI FAT CHOI improved to be racing close to the heels of EPATANT and in doing so shifted out. After this, KUNG HEI FAT CHOI travelled wide and without cover. Passing the 500 Metres, EPATANT and KUNG HEI FAT CHOI bumped as EPATANT shifted out from behind TELECOM SUPREMO. After the 200 Metres, WINNING PAL was shifted out away from the heels of BULB TREASURE which was giving ground. HAPPY EAGLE, which was following, was inconvenienced as a consequence. For the majority of the race, GREEN GLORY travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of HAPPY EAGLE and EPATANT after the race did not show any significant findings. DANESOUTH and TELECOM SUPREMO were sent for sampling.
