SKY FORTUNE and OPEN HOUSE bumped heavily at the start.
JUNZI and FIRE AND GOLD bumped on jumping.
LONDON MASTER began awkwardly.
A short distance after the start, OPEN HOUSE, LONDON MASTER and JUNZI were all crowded for room between FIRE AND GOLD which became unbalanced when bumped by JUNZI and NOBLE DELIGHT which shifted out marginally. After this incident, LONDON MASTER, JUNZI and FIRE AND GOLD were all shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
In the early stages, S de Sousa (JUNZI) temporarily lost the use of his right stirrup iron.
Rounding the Home Turn, TRAVEL DATUK was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SKY FORTUNE.
In the early part of the Straight, WAYFOONG CHARMER lay in under pressure, requiring its rider to change his whip into his right hand near the 200 Metres.
Approaching the 50 Metres, WAYFOONG CHARMER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of HAPPY COOPERATION which shifted out. Consequently WAYFOONG CHARMER was not ridden out all the way to the end of race.
After the race, it was noted that SKY FORTUNE had bled from both nostrils.
A veterinary inspection of JUNZI immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WALDORF and NOBLE DELIGHT were sent for sampling.
