CEREFINO began only fairly and then lost ground when bumped by BLADE RACER which shifted out. After the race, A Sanna reported that CEREFINO was not comfortable in its action at any stage of the race. A veterinary inspection of CEREFINO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, CEREFINO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. STRATHALLAN was tightened for room on jumping between TRAVEL DATUK and JAZZ STEED, both of which shifted ground. DEMONS ROCK was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover. Also from a wide barrier, FLYING GODSPELL was steadied and shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 800 Metres, JAZZ STEED raced tight inside the heels of STRATHALLAN. Making the first turn after the 600 Metres, DEMONS ROCK got its head up when racing in restricted room between GRAND HARBOUR and FLYING GODSPELL which shifted in away from the heels of TRAVEL DATUK. Passing the 300 Metres, CEREFINO lay in and was awkwardly placed outside the heels of BLADE RACER. Throughout the race, HAPPY WINNER travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of JAZZ STEED and BLADE RACER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HONG KONG WIN and VERY SWEET ORANGE were sent for sampling. <31/10/2019 Additional Veterinary Report>JAZZ STEED, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. JAZZ STEED was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C Fownes this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, JAZZ STEED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
