CZARSON shifted out at the start and bumped CAMPIONE. ROCK YA HEART shifted out on jumping and inconvenienced RED DESERT and WE THE SOUTH. SCORES OF FUN shifted out at the start and hampered TORONADO PHANTOM. Then from the outside barriers, SCORES OF FUN and TORONADO PHANTOM were shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 800 Metres, RED DESERT was left racing wide and without cover. Approaching the 300 Metres, CZARSON was checked away from the heels of ROCK YA HEART when held up for clear running behind that horse and inside SILVER FIG. Passing the 200 Metres, WE THE SOUTH was shifted out away from the heels of KA YING MASTER (H Bentley) which shifted to the outside of CAMPIONE to obtain clear running. H Bentley was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in similar circumstances. A veterinary inspection of MCLUCKY, TORONADO PHANTOM and RED DESERT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CAMPIONE and KA YING MASTER were sent for sampling.
