BROTHERHOOD was withdrawn on 16.5.08 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, BROTHERHOOD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. GALLANT MASTER and GALAXEE were slow to begin. Shortly after the start, TOUCH MORE was steadied when crowded for room between WINNING FIRST and LUFENG FORTUNE which shifted in. In the early stages, WINNING FIRST proved difficult to settle. Passing the 500 Metres, BIG PROFIT shifted out slightly and was steadied away from the heels of CLASSIC ENERGY. For a short distance after this, BIG PROFIT was held up for clear running and passing the 400 Metres was shifted to the inside of BOLERO into clear running. In the Straight, SPEEDY STAR raced greenly. For the major part of the race, CLASSIC ENERGY hung out. HANNAH KING PRAWN, BOLERO and HOT PEPPER were sent for sampling.
