SUPER POWER began awkwardly and lost ground. JADE CHINA shifted out at the start and bumped G-ONE LEADING. Both PRIMIATA and TALE OF FRIENDSHIP began awkwardly. Despite being ridden along in the early stages, VITALITY CHAMP was unable to muster speed and consequently raced in a midfield position. Passing the 1400 Metres, CHINSOLA was steadied away from the heels of VITALITY CHAMP. For a short distance after this, CHINSOLA raced tight between VITALITY CHAMP and DANEPRINT. For some distance passing the 800 Metres, VITALITY CHAMP proved difficult to settle when being restrained off the heels of ZEPHYRUS. Near the 700 Metres, SUPER POWER was steadied away from the heels of ROCKALOT. Passing the 400 Metres, ZEPHYRUS was steadied and shifted to the outside of JADE CHINA when disappointed for running between that horse and FRAMES DEPOT. A short distance after this, DECENT FELLOW, which was weakening, was steadied when crowded for room between DANEPRINT and ZEPHYRUS which when being shifted to the outside of JADE CHINA was taken out further by that horse which shifted ground when weakening. SUPER POWER, which was following DECENT FELLOW, was inconvenienced as a consequence. No action was taken. Passing the 200 Metres, ROCKALOT raced tight between G-ONE LEADING and PRIMIATA which was taken in slightly by FRAMES DEPOT. Throughout the race, TALE OF FRIENDSHIP travelled wide and without cover. JADE CHINA also travelled wide and without cover for the majority of the race and in the Straight gave ground. JADE CHINA was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of JADE CHINA after the race did not show any significant findings. DANEPRINT, FRAMES DEPOT and ZEPHYRUS were sent for sampling.
