On 9/1, during a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m, the horse took an active lead, responding lightly to urging and maintaining a steady pace. On December 26th, also at Conghua over 1200m, it settled in a midfield position with minimal change in running order. A turf trial on December 6th over 1000m saw vigorous riding but a solid performance. An 800m turf trial on November 8th showed weakening momentum after 300m with insufficient strength. This is the horse's debut race as a new arrival, having begun training in Hong Kong at the end of July last year. Five barrier trials have been conducted this season with moderate results. Being a smaller horse with a low action, it’s willing to go forward but lacks strong acceleration; suited for sprints but without sufficient stamina. This first run is being viewed as another trial opportunity.
