Four weeks ago, this horse ran disappointingly over 1200m on the dirt, slow out of the gate and settling towards the back with a steady pace but no impressive sectionals before finishing well-beaten. A subsequent turf trial over 1400m sees the horse receive a two-pound weight reduction. Times in that group were good, allowing it to secure a good position tracking the leaders and an advantageous inside barrier. However, it has failed to place in five attempts at this distance, making its prospects questionable; likely to be running on from behind.
