Four weeks ago, over Sha Tin’s 1600m, the horse's performance was unremarkable, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and making a move in the middle stages but failing to sustain it to the finish. In a subsequent trial over 1400m at Sha Tin, he carries no weight reduction this time. He has failed to place in four attempts over this distance, with limited form shown against this group of horses. Drawing an outside barrier presents a disadvantageous position, and even if held up towards the rear, his finishing kick is the strongest within the field but unlikely to win this race.
