Three weeks ago, this horse ran a long-distance race over Happy Valley turf, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but maintaining a steady pace without a strong finish. A recent dirt trial (1200m: 6-6-5) saw him only moderately chasing. Another barrier trial showed no significant improvement. Making his debut on Sha Tin’s 1400m turf, he needs to carry four extra pounds this time and the distance is unfavorable, compounded by an outside draw – considered a mere trial run.
