BRIGHT DAY

Four weeks ago, this horse delivered a very impressive performance over Sha Tin 1200m, jumping moderately and settling back in the field before making up ground with fast closing sections. In a subsequent trial over Sha Tin 1400m, carrying a nine-pound deduction, the finishing kick was lacking and the overall situation wasn’t ideal. Despite comparable sectionals to the rest of the field and managing to secure a good position tracking the leaders, no opportunity presented itself for a challenge.
