Six weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a steady pace before finishing third under pressure from Lawman. He was beaten three lengths and showed good potential. A recent barrier trial didn’t particularly impress. Another trial over 1200m at Happy Valley saw the horse racing without any additional weight; however, rivals appeared stronger and it lacked the necessary finishing kick, putting it in a less favorable position. Despite having previous form over this distance, a decent gate and satisfactory work, opportunities appear limited.
