On April 25th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 6-4-1), a slow start was followed by a forward move and strong finishing kick. On April 11th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 9-4-3), another slow break but consistent pursuit of the leaders resulted in a respectable performance. March 28th (Conghua turf trial 800m: 1-1-1) saw a clear lead after an initial trial following surgery. A run over Sha Tin 1400m prior to April was subpar, settling well but lacking enthusiasm. Returning from a long break, three barrier trials have shown slight improvement. In its latest Happy Valley sprint trial, this horse will carry six pounds less weight and has drawn a poor barrier. The plan is to settle towards the rear of the field; however, finishing speed may not be competitive. Despite a similar time to its group, gatework has been improved with morning exercise showing positive signs and suggesting potential for an upset.
