Eight weeks ago, in a similar distance trial, it showed good performance, jumping slowly but settling back in the field, maintaining a steady speed and finishing strongly. After a short break, a recent barrier trial was satisfactory. This time carrying a seven-pound deduction, its sectional timing is weaker compared to other horses in the same group, making its prospects unfavorable despite potential for an early lead and a decent barrier draw; it’s unlikely to be competitive this race.
