On April 28th, this horse recorded a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua finishing first in the first and second sections, holding back without fully extending. Four weeks ago over the same distance, the performance was acceptable; a slow start saw it settle towards the rear before making a mid-race effort, but ultimately faded toward the finish. A recent barrier trial showed moderate form. This race benefits from a nine-pound weight reduction, and the overall time of its trial group wasn’t impressive. Drawing a poor barrier is unfavorable. Although this horse has shown some record at this distance with potential for an early lead, trackwork reports are stable, but chances appear limited.
