FLYING AKEED

On April 24th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m in sections of 6-6-6, maintaining a steady pace early on and gradually moving outwards for a strong chase. Previously, on April 11th at Conghua, he ran a turf trial over 1200m, settling second throughout and responding well under pressure in the straight. Eight weeks ago, this horse delivered an excellent performance over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf track, jumping slowly but finishing with fast sections after settling towards the rear. Following a short break, he has undergone two barrier trials without any concerning signs. Making his debut over Happy Valley's 1200m, he is set to carry an additional twelve pounds this time and the distance doesn’t suit him, requiring a backmarker strategy; however, his finishing kick was not as strong as opponents in recent runs, making his prospects unfavorable despite drawing a good barrier. It would be best to observe his performance in this race before assessing his potential further.
