On April 25th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse respond moderately with light urging. Eight weeks ago, in a Sha Tin 1200m race, the performance was below expectations; it settled well and tracked the leaders with strong early pace but ultimately finished eighth, beaten three and a half lengths. After a short break, one barrier trial revealed no significant improvement. This time switching to Happy Valley over 1200m for its course debut, the horse will carry no additional weight and is expected to contend for an early lead. Compared to other competitors, it possesses a relative strength advantage. Andrea Atzeni takes the ride, having some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities, and trainer-jockey synergy appears positive. Despite concerns about the distance and a unfavorable draw, a clean break should allow it to secure a forward position and challenge for a place in the top three.
