On April 24th, recorded a strong dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 1-1-1), showing initiative and maintaining good momentum throughout. Four weeks ago in a straight course race, the performance was poor; a slow start resulted in settling towards the rear of the field with an even pace and no finishing kick, beaten three and a half lengths for eighth place. A subsequent barrier trial showed improvement. This will be the horse’s debut on the Sha Tin turf over 1200m, benefiting from a two-pound weight reduction, a suitable distance, and final work suggesting it warrants further consideration.
