On May 16th, a dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse fading in the middle stages and dropping back. Three weeks prior, in a similar distance trial, it showed good performance with a slow start, settling towards the rear before accelerating strongly in the final two sections. In its most recent barrier trial, it didn’t fully extend itself. This time, it benefits from a 2lb weight reduction but has yet to win in ten attempts over this course and distance. With a poor draw against comparable times, the prospects don't appear favorable and a winning run seems unlikely.
