On May 15th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-5), the horse showed moderate pace with urging. Six weeks ago in a similar race, it performed poorly, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a steady pace but lacking a finishing kick, resulting in a significant defeat. One barrier trial was completed but not to full fitness. Returning from Conghua, this time it needs to carry 17 pounds more weight, with unfavorable timing compared to other horses in the group and a difficult race shape. However, drawing a good barrier is advantageous; the horse appears to be in good form on the track and capable of strong performance.
