REWARDING TWINKLE

Three weeks ago, this horse recorded a dirt trial over 1050m in times of 8-7-4, moving out at the 300m mark with an encouraging surge. Eight weeks prior, over the same distance, the performance was reasonable, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but finishing strongly. Following a short break, a recent barrier trial showed acceptable form. Making his debut after switching stables, this horse benefits from a four-pound weight reduction this time. He has yet to win in four attempts at this distance, so the situation isn’t ideal; however, even with comparable times within the group, an advantageous barrier position is present and a hold-up strategy will be employed, relying on a strong finishing kick. The horse is improving with each run and appears well-prepared for competition.
