On May 9th, during a Happy Valley turf trial over 1200m (sections: 3-4-4), the horse showed good chasing ability around the three bends. Seven weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf race over 1200m, performance was poor; a slow start led to settling towards the rear with an even pace and no finishing kick. Following a short break, a barrier trial was conducted with satisfactory results. Now switching to Happy Valley over 1200m for its course debut, this time carrying a two-pound weight reduction, the distance is not ideal, making the situation less favourable. Despite potential to settle in a good position tracking the leaders and securing a decent barrier draw, it boasts the strongest finishing kick within the group, suggesting observation of one race first is advisable.
