On May 27th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 6-7-7), settling mid-pack with an unremarkable performance. Three weeks ago, it ran reasonably well over a Happy Valley 1800m, slow out of the gates and settling towards the rear at a steady pace. Despite a late effort from L’Arcarsenal, it was still beaten three lengths in sixth place. One barrier trial completed but failed to show expected improvement. Switching to a longer distance race at Happy Valley, this will be its debut over this trip. It carries a 1-pound reduction in weight for this race, however the distance increase is not favored and a rearward position is anticipated. Finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals, making it an unfavorable prospect despite securing a good barrier draw – considered primarily as a trial run."
