On May 23rd, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw the horse settling in mid-division and finishing with a strong kick. Five weeks ago, this horse ran to expectations over Sha Tin’s 1400m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making progress in the middle stages but failing to sustain it to the finish. A recent barrier trial showed an unremarkable performance. Returning for its debut run at Happy Valley over 1200m, this time without any additional weight, having shown previous form over this distance and with comparable times to horses in the same group, drawing a favourable barrier suggests a good chance of contending for a place.
