On May 23rd, this horse recorded a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua (2-3-3), briefly encountering traffic before making up ground in the final stages. Four weeks ago, in a similar distance trial, the performance was lackluster with a slow jump and settling towards the rear, maintaining an even pace but without any noticeable acceleration. A subsequent barrier trial didn’t show significant improvement. This time benefiting from a four-pound weight reduction, however, its section times were slower compared to other horses in the same group, putting it at a disadvantage. Even with proven form over this distance and drawing a favorable barrier position potentially allowing for an early lead, winning prospects appear limited.
