On May 23rd, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse settling in midfield. Four weeks ago, it ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1400m, with a slow jump and trailing pace, lacking a strong finish and finishing well-beaten. One barrier trial was completed, but work is still needed. Switching to Happy Valley over a mile this time, facing its debut distance, the horse will carry one pound more weight. The increased distance isn’t ideal and it's expected to settle back in the field, with insufficient finishing kick against rivals; however, an advantageous barrier draw offers some hope as an outsider.
