A slow jump saw it settle towards the rear of the field, making a strong move through the middle sections and finishing with a good two-section burst to take second place, losing by half a length. Now moving up in class, this time with a 17lb weight reduction and a similar time difference within the group, the strategy is again to settle towards the rear. However, the finishing kick wasn't strong enough against its rivals, presenting an unfavorable situation despite drawing a good barrier – it doesn’t appear likely to have a winning plan.
