On May 27th, (dirt trial 1200m: 10-10-9) moved out on the bend and settled in a tracking position. Two months ago, this horse ran decently over a Happy Valley 1800m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a mid-race move. He finished seventh, beaten three lengths. After a short break, he had one barrier trial which wasn't fully extended. Switching to Sha Tin over 1600m this time for his debut at this distance with a 3lb weight reduction. The trip isn’t ideal and the draw isn’t particularly advantageous. Despite drawing well and potentially able to lead, the jockey change to Andrea Atzeni suggests they are still finding the right combination. Trainer maintains confidence in the horse but it's being considered as a trial run."
