Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1600m race, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He maintained a steady pace but lacked any impressive sections. In a subsequent trial over Sha Tin 1400m, he benefits from a one-pound weight reduction, recorded moderate sectionals and drew an outside barrier. The plan is to settle back in this race, however, his finishing kick wasn’t strong enough against the opposition and the situation looks unfavorable. Despite having two previous wins at this distance, he appears to be losing energy and doesn't seem to have a clear strategy.
