Five weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Sha Tin 1600m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. It showed a strong late run to finish third, beaten by only half a length. Another trial over Sha Tin 1400m sees it racing without any additional weight this time. Considering its past performance at this distance and comparable times within the group, it should be able to secure a good position tracking the leaders. An inside barrier draw is advantageous. The jockey has limited experience with the horse, but it lacks finishing kick and there’s a perceived lack of synergy between the trainer and jockey; a placing finish would be satisfactory.
