On June 13th, during a dirt trial at Conghua over 1000m (sections: 3-6-6), the horse returned comfortably without being fully tested. Five weeks ago, in its last run on dirt over 1200m, it performed poorly, jumping slowly and settling towards the back with an even pace but lacking a strong finish, resulting in a significant defeat. A subsequent barrier trial revealed no noticeable improvement. Another Happy Valley turf trial over 1200m was conducted. This time, the horse will carry nine pounds more weight. It has yet to win in three attempts at this distance and the section times are unfavorable compared to its rivals. The trainer-jockey combination isn’t ideal, however, drawing a good barrier allows for an early pace strategy. Karis Teetan takes the ride, having some familiarity with the horse's capabilities; a clean break is crucial for securing a forward position.
