Two weeks ago, this horse ran in the Happy Valley 1200m and performed decently despite a slow start, settling towards the rear. It showed a strong late run, finishing within two and a half lengths of the winner in fifth place. Having lost twenty-five pounds in body weight, it will now trial over a Happy Valley mile. This time, no additional weight will be carried, with comparable times to its group and an advantageous barrier draw. A hold-up tactic is anticipated, but possesses strong finishing speed within the field. Horse, jockey, and trainer appear well-matched; morning trackwork suggests continued improvement, maintaining a threatening presence.
