AMAZING RUN

On June 12th (dirt trial 1200m, running positions of each section: 6-6-3), the horse travelled on the outside throughout and maintained third position. Four weeks ago in a similar race, it settled in a good position tracking the leaders but lacked acceleration, finishing third, beaten three and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial showed slight improvement. This time carrying one pound less weight with competitive section times, the strategy is to settle back in the field relying on a strong finishing kick – the strongest in its group. Despite an unfavourable draw, it remains capable of a surprise performance.
