Three weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m race, tracking the leaders with a steady pace but lacking a finishing burst. He had his first dirt trial over 1200m and will carry four pounds less this time. The distance is not ideal, drawing an outside barrier, however, he has the potential to lead early. As long as he jumps cleanly, he should aim for the front.
