On June 17th, (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1) the horse led aggressively from the rail, maintained a strong pace over the final two furlongs and won decisively. On June 6th, (dirt trial 1200m: 1-4-9) it lacked early speed and showed little promise. Seven weeks ago in a straight course race, this horse performed poorly, slow to jump and settled towards the rear, finishing with a weak finish. Two barrier trials have shown some improvement. Switching to dirt over 1200m for its debut at this distance, carrying a two-pound weight reduction this time, the distance is unfavorable and requires a hold-up tactic; however, its finishing kick may not be strong enough against rivals making it an unfavourable prospect and should be observed first before further consideration.
