Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1400m, with a slow jump and settling at the rear. Maintaining a steady pace, it lacked any significant acceleration and finished well-beaten. In a subsequent turf trial over 1200m, carrying a two-pound weight reduction and recording slower section times, it again had to settle back in the field but demonstrated insufficient finishing kick compared to its rivals. The current form is unfavorable and it’s unlikely to feature this time.
