Two weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over the same distance, jumping slowly and settling at the rear. He managed to follow the pace in the second section but faded noticeably. Returning to action soon after, he will carry six pounds more this time. The timing of his preparation is not ideal, drawing an unfavorable outside barrier. Despite having two previous wins over this course and distance, and possessing early speed, he's unlikely to be a major contender in this race.
