Two weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Sha Tin 1400m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He made a mid-race move, showing good acceleration but was ultimately beaten three and a half lengths for sixth place. A subsequent trial over 1600m on turf with a two-pound weight reduction and an outside barrier draw sees connections anticipating a hold-up strategy; however, finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals, presenting an unfavorable scenario despite comparable sectionals within the group and not appearing to be a strong contender in this race.
