Last ran winner seven weeks ago over a Happy Valley mile, performing well despite a slow start and settling towards the rear with a consistent pace, ultimately taking the win after a strong push by the rider, winning by one and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial indicated slight improvement. Moving up in class, another Sha Tin turf trial over 1400m is scheduled; this time carrying an eight-pound weight reduction, posting a comparable time to its group, and drawing an outside barrier which isn’t ideal positioning. However, the horse appears capable of tracking the leaders, and if it jumps cleanly, connections intend for it to maintain a forward position.
