On August 25th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1200m (sections 8-4-9), the horse showed an initial burst around the bend but lacked stamina down the straight. This is his first run of the season. One barrier trial was completed with unremarkable results. After arriving in Hong Kong, he ran again over 1200m on the Sha Tin turf. For this race, he will carry six pounds less weight; however, his time compared to other horses in the same group is not favorable. Despite having won four races previously over this distance, morning trackwork shows consistent form, but isn’t particularly impressive for this race.
